Hello all!! It's been a while since I posted, so I figured I would leave you all a quick note. Life has been very crazy and time has been scarce. I need to reorganize my Home life before I can get to crafting again.
I will be back! But, for now I have to step aside. I wish you all a wonderful Easter and Happy Mother's Day!!
Love and Hugs,
Jacqui
P.S. My SU! website will not be available after this month. I have decided to discontinue the service.

Joel & Kassie
Last night at 7:30pm, Kassie gave birth to a stillborn baby girl. She was 17 weeks pregnant. The baby's name is McKenzi Kay Ann Hunt.
Please, pray for them. Joel is my cousin, and Kassie is his wonderful fiance. He is a disabled Vet, Not even 30 yrs old. He gave himself for our country, and since his return he has been fighting for the rights of Disabled Vets. Kassie has been so loving and supportive of Joel, and is a welcome addition to our family. I am asking you to pray for peace and comfort for them, as the loss of their little girl is devastating. Thank you so much!!

Heart Treat Box
Ok, I've decided to respond to a challenge.. I'm quite timid at challenges, always afraid that my outcome won't be what I've imagined. So, I hope you like...
The top flower is made entirely of heart punches! Even the leaves!
Going, going, gone! Page two... SO funny!!!
Tell me this is not funny!! Cause WE sure think it is!!! LOL!!! And this is another MDS creation!! So much you can do with the awesome features that this program packs in!!
Going, Going, Gone! Scrapbook Page
So, I couldn't bring myself to do this yesterday, too soon. But, today I decided to give it a try. I would like to hear what you think, before I sent it to the printer... now that we can print individual sheets!! Yeah!!!

Going, Going, Gone!!!
This is it. I'm here.
Below are the before pictures...
In a braid (which is how he usually wore it), and my favorite.. Loose!!
Karissa offered to let me cut the 'tail', but I couldn't. I had a sick feeling in my stomach. I felt like I was committing a crime! I couldn't believe how calm Dave was through this whole thing! I did get lots of pictures, but that's for an album. It's going to take alot of getting used too!! But, now I get to package the remainders for Locks of Love! *gulp*
The End!

WHAT IS LOCKS OF LOVE?
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.Mission Statement
Our mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need. Why We Are Needed
There are several problems facing children who suffer long-term medical hair loss. Most wigs sold by retailers are made to fit adult heads, and are much too big for children to wear. They often require the use of tape or glue to keep them from falling off, and these adhesives can burn or irritate the scalp. Often, the styles of adult wigs are not age-appropriate and synthetic wigs can mat and frizz with excessive styling.
The hair prosthetics Locks of Love provides are custom-made from donated ponytails for each child’s head. They retail between $3,500 to $6,000. The hairpiece forms a vacuum seal, like a suction cup, and does not require the use of tape or glue. Only the wearer of the hairpiece may remove it, by breaking the vacuum seal at the temples. Children can dismiss insecurities about classmates pulling off their hairpiece, or losing it at recess. They can swim, shower and do gymnastics – in short, they can be kids again. Each hairpiece is made from real human hair, and arrives long, so the recipient may style it to fit their face.

12 Days of Christmas- day 12
The Teacher gifts are done and ready to be delivered today. Yeah!! I LOVE the final result of this teacher gift... in the final packaging I wrapped the gloves around the bottom of the mug, with 1 thumb through the handle. It looks like someone is already enjoying the warmth of Hot Cocoa!! LOL!! Oh, the Mug is decorated with SU! Icicle Rub-ons. The snowflake on the gloves is from the snowflakes set for the Big Shot, and the color on the gloves is a fabric spray dye. The hardest part about this project was putting the final package together. My original plan didn't turn out as good as I wanted, but the second attempt was MUCH better!! I thought the white tissue kinda looks like whip cream and steam. Maybe it's just me..lol! Making the mug and gloves was very easy, and my kids had a blast helping with the gloves! Lots of giggles!
